Kedai Makan Kheng Yuen Lee, translated literally to 'Kheng Yuan Lee Eating Shop' on their signboard, is the first restaurant that greets visitors as they enter Bukit Fraser from the Gap, located left opposite a sundry shop but next to Puncak Lodge (a single-storey colonial bungalow managed by Puncak Innand a short distance away before the town roundabout.
Housed within a rustic stone house next to Puncak Lodge Bungalow, the restaurant offers traditional Chinese food comprised mostly of rice and noodle dishes, with a signature laksa served on weekends. The restaurant is not always open on weekdays, except for peak and reasonably busy tourist seasons. Inside, the interior is just like a local 'Kopitiam', or Chinese coffeeshop found in towns and cities.
