Sungai Chiling

Fraser's Hill

Sungai Chiling is a waterfall and fish sanctuary at the foothills of Fraser's Hill, located after the Selangor Dam from Kuala Kubu Bharu close to Sungai Pertak. On weekends, this picturesque nature destination, managed by the state fisheries department, attracts many visitors from Kuala Lumpur and those en route to Bukit Fraser.

The river was gazetted as a nature park and fish sanctuary to preserve a local species of mahseer (green 'Kelah'). Access is by a small entrance with an arch along the trunk road to Fraser's Hill, immediately after the steel bridge. There is a small clearing for parking vehicles, but do not display any items of value on the seat or dashboard.
